AIPIA Europe

What we do

Training, information, events, consulting.

Four pillars hold AIPIA's activity together. Each exists to serve members and, through them, the wider community of practitioners and institutions building artificial intelligence in Europe.

01 — Training

Programmes that culminate in the European AI Credential.

AIPIA runs structured courses and workshops on machine learning, generative AI, prompt engineering, automation and the practical application of the EU AI Act. Programmes are designed for working professionals and oriented toward outcomes rather than theory.

The flagship offering is the Foundation Course in Artificial Intelligence with European AI Credential. AIPIA is the first Italian association accredited to issue this credential, verifiable through Europass and sealed with eIDAS. It is the closest thing to a professional licence the AI sector currently has at European level.

02 — Information

Working library and editorial channels.

AIPIA publishes a regular newsletter, books, briefings and analytical pieces on European AI policy, professional ethics, and emerging practice. The 2025 essay collection AIO — "Your next colleague is a robot" — was the foundation for the AI-lessia working programme launched in 2026.

Editorial output is openly accessible and indexed for the AI search engines that Italian and European readers increasingly rely on. The aim is the opposite of marketing: write what AI practitioners actually need to know.

03 — Events

Convening practitioners face to face.

Workshops, conferences, regional meet-ups and dedicated tracks for members and corporate partners run throughout the year. Many sessions feed directly into AIPIA training pathways; others exist to surface new research or to introduce regulatory developments to the community.

AIPIA initiatives bring AI literacy into schools, public administrations and professional networks across Italy and Europe. The full programme catalogue is maintained on the main site.

04 — Consulting

Advisory for organisations facing AI transition.

AIPIA supports companies and public administrations through structured advisory engagements: AI literacy programmes for staff at every level, internal audits against the EU AI Act, ethical review of high-risk systems, and guidance on the certified-professional pathway for in-house teams.

A directory of certified professionals is maintained on the main site and accessible to organisations searching for AIPIA-recognised practitioners.

For partnerships, training proposals or consultancy enquiries, the contact route is the same.
